Why Fixer Marketing?
I tend to see the world of blue collar distribution a little differently. To me, it looks a lot like a bee colony.
Every distributor branch is its own hive. There is constant activity. Phones ringing. Counter traffic. Deliveries going out. Sales calls happening. People buzzing around all day long, each doing important work that keeps the whole thing alive.
Those bees matter. Every single one of them. But they also have very specific roles. Some forage. Some build. Some protect. Some keep things moving behind the scenes. The colony only thrives when everyone is doing what they do best.
That’s where things start to break down in today’s blue collar businesses.
The world has changed. Fast. What got distributors and OEMs here will not get them where they need to go next. Growth is harder. Competition is tighter. Contractors expect more. And marketing can no longer be an afterthought or something squeezed in between other jobs.
Too often, marketing ends up being another task piled onto people who already have full plates. Sales leaders, branch managers, admins, or well meaning teams trying to make it work without the right structure, tools, or strategy. That’s not sustainable. And it’s not fair to the hive.
Fixer Marketing exists to be part of the colony, not a distraction from it.
I come in to do the work that needs to be fixed. To bring clarity, structure, and execution to marketing so the rest of the organization can stay focused on what they do best. Selling. Serving customers. Running strong branches. Building relationships.
And yes, the name is intentional.
This industry is built by people who fix things. Equipment. Systems. Buildings. Problems. Fixer is a nod to that mindset and to the people who keep the world running, often without much recognition.
Fixer Marketing is marketing that works as hard as the people it supports. Practical. Grounded. Built for how blue collar distribution actually operates.
Because strong colonies do not happen by accident. They happen when every role is clear and every part is working together.
